Standard First Aid

You need an advanced course that will allow you to assume a prehospital medical care provider role during emergency situations?

Standard First Aid, Société de sauvetage

With this comprehensive training, you will be able to quickly recognize abnormal signs and symptoms, and apply the necessary emergency measures.

In sixteen hours, you will cover many topics, such as assessing a victim's clinical condition and administering treatment for priority emergencies (respiratory emergencies, cardiovascular emergencies, cardiopulmonary arrest, etc.) and secondary emergencies (seizures, blood sugar problems, environmental issues, etc.). Additionally, you will learn to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), administer epinephrine by auto-injector, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an adult, child, and infant.

The course can be tailored to the specific audience.

This course meets the requirements of the Z1210-F17 standard — Workplace First Aid Training by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).

If you need your certification to include this mention, it is now possible to create the following exam: First Aid – General - CSA Z1210-17/Intermediate.
