Discover the aquatic sports with the Tournée dans l’eau
Please note that the Tournée dans l’eau activities are mainly offered in French, but we will do our best to offer them in English if possible, upon specific request.
The Fédération de natation du Québec, Fédération de nage synchronisée du Québec, Plongeon Québec, the Lifesaving Society and the Fédération de water-polo du Québec invite you to participate to the Tournée dans l’eau, an initiative made possible by a grant from the RBC Learn to Play Project.
The Tournée dans l’eau is entended for students in primary and secondary schools in Québec. It is offering an opportunity for youth aged between 8 to 17 years old to discover and practice the following 5 aquatic sports:
swimming,
- synchronized swimming,
- diving,
- lifesaving sport,
- water polo.
It’s easy to organize!
The tour visit may last during a half day or a complete day, according to your availability. We are taking in charge all the organization for this activity, such as renting the pool if you don’t have access to an aquatic facility and finding in your region the specialized instructors who will supervise the practice of the specific sports. Your students will then have a chance to learn about different aquatic sports and the workshops will allow them to:
- participate to relay races,
- play a water polo game,
- test their skills as rescuers,
- perform a synchronized swimming show,
- make a diving presentation.

The costs are:
$5 per child for the activities done before August 31, 2017, and
$10 per child for the activities held between September 1, 2017 and August 31, 2018.
